These works are divided by period to give some perspective on who i was at the time and who i am now. Some of the older pieces were infamously performed at the Globe Cafe during the Homeland series, and exist today as relics of a spectacular "happening" in post-grunge, pre-Burning Man Seattle. My first experience reading my work was at a Grunge-era coffeehouse called Penny University on 2nd avenue (circa 1994). If i can find any of those pieces i will post them here despite my embarrassment. Many of my pieces defy classification and exist somewhere in between poetry, prose, essay and masturbatory literature. I tend to call them "wordcraft", so as not to pigeonhole them into something that might be read with "that poet voice" at some open mic.
